Our Walking Experiences
Thoughtfully guided trails through Ireland's ancient landscapes, designed for active seniors
Hill of Tara Royal Enclosure Loop
Our signature 3km guided walk explores the ceremonial heart of ancient Ireland. With expert interpretation of Iron Age settlement patterns and royal history, groups of up to 8 people experience this UNESCO candidate site at a relaxed pace. Most participants complete the loop in 90 minutes with built-in rest stops.
Gentle Meath Heritage Trails
Five curated routes connecting hill forts, passage tombs, and ceremonial landscapes across County Meath. Each 2-5km trail is selected for accessible terrain and historical richness. Participants often combine multiple trails over several visits, building knowledge of Celtic culture and landscape archaeology through repeated engagement.
Hill Fort Archaeology Walks
Dedicated 2-hour sessions focused on reading landscape features—ramparts, ditches, and entranceways. Participants learn how Iron Age engineers designed defensive structures and how modern archaeology interprets these sites. Small groups of 4-6 people with hands-on learning opportunities. Available at Dun Delgan and Knockaulin sites.
Tailored Group Experiences
We design bespoke walking programs for clubs, retirement communities, and travel groups. Recent work includes a 12-week progressive program for a local active aging club (22 participants) and custom itineraries for visiting heritage societies. Each program balances physical activity with cultural learning.
